Neil and Kay Weaver
I was lucky enough to first meet Ron at a corporate Golf day back in the early 90’s and really enjoyed his company as we played and chatted our way around 27 holes. At the end of the golf day we arranged to meet up again. 20 years later and by pure good fortune, having otherwise lost contact, our son Robert, married his granddaughter Katie and we all got to know each other truly, enjoying family weddings, celebrations, Christmases and numerous other events together. We also enjoyed the occasional Sunday breakfast or coffee with our extended families. For me personally, I loved the times Ron, Bob, Robert and myself played golf together. He remained an astonishingly good and fit golfer until only recently. He was such good company, an interesting person to spend time with, and we were all blessed to get to know him and June so well.
